Over a century ago, Marcelino Cerroblanco, started the legacy of “Cerroblanco” jewelers. He created his designs with machinery and tools of his own invention.
José Luis Cerroblanco, inherited from his father the talent and procedures to design and create jewelry, additionally he cultivated in the goldsmith branch, in which he accomplished an interesting classic style with baroque influences, consequently he became the best and most creative goldsmith in the region.
Some of his pieces are found in a number of temples in Mexico, particular collections, and in the Museum of Mexican Religious Art.
With jewelry studies in Italy, and with a noted path in jewelry design and creation, Pepe Cerroblanco resumed the family tradition giving it a contemporary and bold style.His designs present dramatic lines, architectonic and clean. His work has been exhibited in different high level galleries in North America.
